SQUELCH

Open Church in the Open Air

In a ‘world first’ Truro Methodist Church have launched a brand new ministry programme – that takes the people outside in to the parks, woods, beaches and forests around Cornwall.
With activities that are attractive to both boys and girls we hope to engage with whole families as this new idea takes shape.
Our first event  took place in May when we explored the story of Elijah in Idless Wood, Truro. Ravens made from bin-bags; ‘still small voice’ down 50 yards of hose pipe and even a burning calf during worship – this was an evening never to be forgotten.

COMING UP 16th May 2017 at St Clements (nr. Truro) 5.15pm Jacob and Esau
– a very expensive bowl of soup. Please come dressed ready for mud, because we think there is going to be lots and lots of it!
