Data and Privacy

We welcome the opportunity afforded by the introduction of new GDPR legislation to reaffirm our commitment to handle personal data with care and sensitivity. We have been working hard on moves to become compliant with the new regulations and a key part of that compliance is the creation and implementation of our Privacy Policy. It is available in full for download below.
The information stored on our military grade secure database is used for
*  basic administration (including Car Parking, Rota production, maintenance and reporting of membership statistics and -if you  have chosen to – the administration of financial giving to the charity.
*  communication about services, events and general information (email, letter, phone, text, social media etc as appropriate)
*  efficient and confidential pastoral ministry in accordance with the aims and objectives of a Christian Church
*  compliance with regulations and guidance -such as safeguarding procedures and policies – with the life of the Methodist church
 
You have the right to know the information we keep about you.
You have the right to be able to check its accuracy
You have the right to ask that inaccuracies are corrected
And you have the ‘right to be forgotten’
